Dear Blog,
                              A few days ago my father had surgery. The reason why he had surgery is because he had something called a Hernia. A Hernia is when a organ or tissue goes through a weak spot in a mussel or something like that. Fortunately my father got it fixed before it got to bad and  life-threatening  He is recovering pretty well though it looked pretty painful. His surgery also went smooth.  My dad was walking right after he got surgery (he is not supposed to)! Isn't that crazy? Anyway I have been praying for him and will continued to do so until he is fully recovered.  I have been doing whatever I can to make sure his recovery will be successful.  He is supposed  to not go to work physically because he is in construction so instead he is on his computer working like always instead of resting.                                                                                                                                                    -Nkiyasi Helm

Dear Blog Viewers,




                             Today I had an O.K day not the best, but it was O.K.  Not much to say because all I did was basically clean and organize my room.  I have school tomorrow.  I can't believe time went by so quickly.  I like school and I like to learn, but it is nice to have a break every once and a while.  I really wanted my best friend to come over but she moved to a different school and I have not seen her since, and that makes me feel a bit sad.

Dear Blog,
                                 I can not wait till my birthday! I am very excited, the present I want is a Black Apple i Pod generation 4. If I get that I would be very overjoyed!  On Monday we are going back to school and I am very excited, I can not wait to go back and learn more, but I still have to finish reading my AR book.  I plan to start writing a series of books for little boys soon  Stay Tuned!

                       Today I am about  to go to work with my dad!  We woke up early this morning so that I could get ready and eat breakfast.  I love going to work with my dad because I learn many new things that will contribute to my life when I am older.  When I get back I will tell you how it went.  We are ready for take off bye!

Dear Blog,



                          This break so far has been OK many family-friends have come over, we had a good time. I have gotten through many chapters of the book I have been reading over break.  I also have a math packet due that I need to finish on Algebra, Histograms, line plots and more.   So I have many things to do to keep me busy, plus I need to organize my closet ..................................AGAIN including folding clothes and organizing shoes! I changed my room around so I might as well do it anyway. Guess what?  My birthday is in less than a month 23 days to be exact, so I am very excited.

Dear Blog,



                             I had a wonderful weekend! My best friend came over and we had a wonderful time together.  It was nice to see her again because I haven't seen her in 2 years! We were friends since 3rd grade.  Plus to make it even better Friday we did not have school and all next week we are on break!

Dear Blog,
                             Today I had a pretty good day.  I got 100% on my reading test and I am pretty confident I also got an A on my grammar test.  Remember that writing contest I entered, well I didn't win but that's OK all I can do is try my best.  I started reading a new series called "The Benedict Society" by Trenton Lee Stewart.  So far it is an exceptional book but I still have a tremendous amount  of pages I still need to read.  I cant wait to see what happens next though!
